| Lanier Singles 40+ Social Club (Lanier Singles) is an organization for men and women who are single and are looking for new friends, companionship, and good clean fun. Lanier Singles is a great way to meet friends who are compatible with your values, interests, and hobbies. Lanier Singles not is a matchmaking organization. However, we do require that you be single, widowed, or legally divorced before you join. If you are in the process of a divorce, please consult with the President before applying for membership. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun atmosphere to meet other singles through a variety of activities which include dinner parties, cookouts, picnics, boating and swimming, hiking, traveling, cruises, bowling, movies, and more. We dance at the American Legion on Riverside Drive in Gainesville every Friday night from 8-12 PM. Just look for us on the left side of the dance floor when you enter. We meet every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM for dinner at a restaurant in and around Gainesville. It is a great opportunity for you to meet our members. Every Sunday afternoon we meet at Sardis Park off Hwy 53 west of Gainesville. This is also a great opportunity to meet a large number of our members. We socialize, picnic, go boating and play volleyball depending on the weather. We attempt to go to this park every weekend throughout the year. Upon receipt of a signed Application for Membership and $30.00, you will be given a copy of the by-laws and a current calendar of information. Each month, thereafter, we will send you the calendar and newsletter either via Post Office mail or e-mail. Upon request, or during the next update of your membership, you will receive a copy of the membership contact information. We look forward to having you as a member of our group.
